Kings South Members will be holding a General Meeting of the membership to select delegates for and address any resolutions we wish to send to our Provincial Party Convention which will take place May 22 to 24 in Halifax.

We are able to send 9 delegates to Convention by our present count.

Resolutions will need to be voted on at the General Meeting

We will also hold our AGM that same time and will select our new Executive members at that time. We have a Nomination Committee consisting of Hugh Curry and Peter Kiefl. If you are interested in serving on the Executive or have a desire to be more active with the Kings South NDP, please let us know via email or phone call.

We will send out more information about how to prepare a resolution and we ask that you send either Hugh or myself any resolutions in advance so we can be organized to deal with them. We would hope to receive any proposed resolutions by April 5, 2026.

Anyone who is interested in a submitting a policy resolution of a constitutional resolution is advised to consult the data base of resolutions and there is a workshop on resolutions. We will send out that info shortly.
