Houston must repeal Bill 148 as promised

Halifax — NDP Labour spokesperson Kendra Coombes made the following statement in response to the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal decision on Bill 148:

“With today’s decision, it’s time for Tim Houston to do what he promised and repeal Bill 148.

The Liberal government was completely wrong when it passed the law. The current Conservative government must show its commitment to the workers of Nova Scotia by repealing the bill.

There’s no way to move forward collaboratively without mutual respect.”
