Burrill: Liberals' lack of leadership causing uncertainty

HALIFAX - NDP Leader Gary Burrill made the following statement about the terms of reference released today by the Department of Environment regarding Northern Pulp:

“The terms of reference released today only further demonstrate the uncertainty that has been created by the Liberals’ lack of leadership on the Northern Pulp file. The required data to make a decision on the environmental assessment is still lacking and we are just nine months away from when Boat Harbour must close. There are many questions to be answered and neither Northern Pulp nor the McNeil Liberals have provided what is needed to this date.”
