Permanent Paid Sick Days
COVID-19 has shown the public health risks when workers are forced to choose between losing a day’s pay and going to work sick. Temporary programs to cover people during the 3rd and 4th waves of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia are helpful. Now, we need 10 permanent paid sick days for every employee in the province.
