A Plan that Supports Workers with Children

Many businesses are preparing to open their doors again - but with schools, day care centers and recreation day camps cancelled, parents are finding it difficult to plan to return to work.

In an NDP motion that received all-party support in the Human Resources Committee, we’ve called on the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education to require all workplaces to include accommodations for employees with dependents in their plans for reopening.

Now it’s time for the Minister to act.
