Nova Scotia is the only province that does not include psychological harassment under Occupational Health and Safety rules. Despite ample evidence that bullying is harmful to individuals’ health, the law does not protect workers from this hazard. The NDP Caucus has introduced legislation to add bullying and psychological harassment to the OH&S Act.

We, the undersigned, call on the provincial government to protect workers from workplace bullying and psychological harassment under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
